C&L Services has a Long-Standing Commitment to Giving Back to the Community

From helping local food banks, adopting families in need, assisting local first responders, or supporting Hope Sheds Light, C&L Services is committed to doing our part and giving back to the community.

Celebrating 50 years, C&L Services is a third-generation family owned business. Founded in 1971 by Charlie and Lucy Vitale, its humble beginnings started with a secondhand street sweeper. Today, Gabe Vitale Sr. and Gabe Vitale Jr. run operations from the Jackson headquarters and service the entire state of New Jersey. Having never forgotten their modest roots, the company has created a culture of caring. The “family” culture extends to all employees and clients, who we think of as extended family. Gabe stated, “Relationships are the cornerstone of who we are, and it closely connects us with the entire C&L family, our family of vendors and our family of clients”.

C&L Services Donates Masks to First Responders

Earlier this year, we donated masks to help nurses, doctors, and other first responders in the front-line fight against COVID-19. The Vitale Family of C&L Sweeper and Pavement Maintenance, with the help of its employees, donated over 1,000 masks to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

For Hope Sheds Light, C&L Services supports the efforts dedicated to educating families on the disease of addiction by creating awareness, providing resources, and instilling hope to support a healthier community.

Like Hope Sheds Light, C&L Services is committed to providing friends, families and our community with education on the disease of addiction, including the most prevalent types related to heroin, opiates and prescription drug abuse so they can better understand how continuous use can ultimately take young lives. The goal is to create awareness and a be a gateway to ALL agencies that provide support.
