Pavement Maintenance on Display

Pavement Maintenance at the NPEPavement maintenance is a must for any property because it preserves the life of the asphalt. Pavement maintenance can include, but is not limited to the following services: crack filling, sealcoating, line striping, and concrete repair. Asphalt that is constantly maintained provides for a positive first impression and helps to reduce any liability issues resulting from faulty pavement. For those wishing to educate themselves further, consider attending the National Pavement Expo (NPE).

Pavement Maintenance: Crack Filling
Crack Filling is a part of pavement maintenance.

This year’s tradeshow will be held from January 8th to January 11th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The NPE is the only tradeshow that covers all facets of the pavement maintenance industry. At this show, you will have the opportunity to interact with people in the industry, as well as learn about the latest trends and advancements. Visitors will also have a chance to attend seminars and roundtable discussions. Finally, you can walk the tradeshow floor, look at exhibits and view live pavement maintenance demonstrations.

The North America Power Sweeping Association (NAPSA) plays a large role in ensuring the NPE is a success. NAPSA sponsors a number of seminars as well as a networking event known as “NAPSA Night Out”. The event will be held at the Ft Lauderdale Antique Museum. Some notable NAPSA sponsored seminars include the following:

  1. Increased Paving Productivity and Safety Through the Use of Construction Sweeping
  2. NAPSA Best Practices: the internet, transitioning to the next generation, value added services and more

NAPSA members attend a NAPSA seminar for a discounted rate, or in some cases, for free! For a complete list of NAPSA sponsored events, click here.
